Frozen Chaga mushroom chunks (not dried).

Unlike most medicinal mushrooms, Chaga has an excellent flavor, slightly bitter but reminiscent of coffee or cocoa making it an excellent addition to culinary endeavors. Chaga has potential benefits that include antitumor activity, antioxidant, immunomodulating, blood sugar balancing, cardiac support, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Different preparations can extract different constituents depending on the desired effect. Typically chaga is brewed as a tea/decoction. You can rebrew the chunks of chaga several times, keeping them in the freezer after straining. We sell our chaga in small freshly frozen (as opposed to dry) chunks. Please keep frozen until ready to use.
